The main aim of any organization is to achieve Profits. And, in order to achieve those, you need to layout objectives for every business process/situation. These business processes can be Hiring, Exit, Performance Evaluation, Training and Development. If not, these can even be investment decisions. The majority of managers in the organizations take business decisions intuitively under time pressure, some constraints, or sometimes based on changing situations. The reason why objective based decision making in organizations is more important because it is more focused and firmer, not intuitive which increases the odds of success of the business processes.

Apparently, the objective is SMART.

This made the processes of passing/failing/promoting students very easy. Wasn’t it? This process is an example of objective-based decision making.
